SuisTesJ

Privacy policy

Version of 23 August 2026.

The short version: without an account, nothing leaves your phone. The rest of this page says what changes if you create one.

What SuisTesJ does not contain

SuisTesJ is a planner, not a revision tool. The content of your courses does not exist in the app: there is no editor, no attachment, no document import. So there is nothing of that kind to collect, transmit, or lose.

What the app knows about a course: a title, a subject, a learning date, an estimated duration, an optional free-text note, and the review dates that follow from them.

Without an account: nothing is transmitted

The app works entirely offline. Until you turn on SuisTesJ Cloud, no data is sent anywhere. There is no analytics, no advertising tracker, no third-party measurement — neither in the app nor on this site.

Your data is stored in the app's private area on your device, and disappears if you uninstall it. That is what export is for: it is your backup, and it belongs to you.

With SuisTesJ Cloud: what is transmitted

CategoryContent
AccountEmail address, internal identifier
CoursesTitle, subject, learning date, deadline, priority, free-text note
ReviewsPlanned dates, actual dates, completions, reschedules and their history
SettingsPlanning mode, revision hours per weekday, default rhythm
DevicesName, platform, version, last sync date
SubscriptionStatus, expiry, transaction identifiers supplied by the store

A course title can reveal what you study. That is personal data and it is treated as such: every server table enforces per-user isolation, and identity comes from the verified authentication token, never from what the app claims.

Where your data is hosted

In Switzerland. The database and authentication are hosted by Supabase in the eu-central-2, Zurich region. Your course titles, your dates and your review history do not leave Swiss territory to be stored.

That is a choice, not an accident: when what you study says a lot about you, where it sleeps matters.

Purpose and legal basis

This data serves one purpose: backing up your schedule and finding it again on your other devices. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not mined for behavioural statistics.

Legal basis: performance of the contract you enter into by turning Cloud on (GDPR art. 6(1)(b); FADP art. 31). Minimal technical logs rest on the legitimate interest in keeping the service running and secure.

Processors

Supabase
Database and authentication, region eu-central-2 (Zurich). Supabase Inc. is a US company; the data stays stored in Switzerland, but support access from the United States cannot be excluded.
RevenueCat
Subscription management and purchase verification. RevenueCat Inc., United States.
Google Play & Apple App Store
Subscription billing. We never see your payment details: the store sends us a status, not a card.
Infomaniak
Hosting of this site and delivery of authentication emails. Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland. This site is static and receives no data from you.

Transfers outside Switzerland and the EU rely on standard contractual clauses and the safeguards published by these providers.

Retention

Your Cloud data is kept for as long as your account exists. When it is deleted, the data is removed by cascade from the tables concerned.

Technical logs and billing events are subject to no automatic deletion today. We would rather write that than announce a period nothing enforces. You can ask for them to be erased at any time: support@suistesj.com.

Minimum age

The free app is open to everyone: it collects nothing, so there is nothing to consent to. SuisTesJ Cloud is for people aged 15 and over, the threshold used for consent to online services.

Deleting your account

From the app, or by email. The full procedure, what is deleted and how quickly: account deletion page.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (GDPR arts. 15–21; FADP arts. 25 ff.). Exporting your data is available directly in the app, without writing to us and without an active subscription.

To exercise a right: support@suistesj.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence in the EU.

This site is static. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no third-party scripts. Typefaces come from Google Fonts, which means one request to Google's servers when a page loads: it is the site's only third-party connection, and it carries nothing beyond what an HTTP request carries by nature.
